With TAF 2009 coming to an end, some would say that this has been one of the best years ever. I started this blog because every year, there are a multitude of TAF reflections that get posted online.
Writing a reflection on TAF is something that can be quite challenging, because it forces you to think about everything that you have learned throughout the week, and sometimes, it makes you wonder if you have learned anything over the week. It also serves as something you can look back upon later in the year to remind yourself of these things you’ve learned, and about the value of TAF.
If you would like to share your thoughts on TAF, please send an email to tafreflections09@gmail.com.
In the email, please start with your name (as you’d like it to be displayed, full name preferred but not required), program, and number of years at TAF. You also have the option of remaining anonymous, if you indicate so in your email. Then attach a copy of your personal TAF 2009 reflection. In most cases, it will not be edited, so please look over it before submitting, and please keep it clean (no profanity).
Need ideas? Look around blogs or facebook to see other TAFers’ reflections from previous years, but be reminded, this is your own reflection. You should not feel like it needs to be at some specific “level”. The goal of this blog is just to make it easier for you to share with the world what you’ve taken away from this past week at TAF.
Don’t forget, what’s even more important than what you take away from TAF, is what you do when go back into the “real world”.
We look forward to hearing from you!
